Arka rated it really liked it Sep 29, Want to Read Currently Reading Read. The expectation is that you would get a tutorial on all the main algorithms rather than how to put various algorithms together to solve a particular problem in, say, fraud detection.
The author uses data from a variety of applications to demonstrate the methods and includes practical problems for students to solve. Explanations in here are terse and in python, which helped stephrn skip over some of the wordy explanations in Data Mining book.
